Playground Plans

Mr M came in this morning to show us the plans for what our new playground, at our new school, might look like.
Mr M with the board showing 3 options for equipment.

When Mr M comes back, he wants us to be able to answer 3 Questions:
Which one is our favourite? -The one you like the most.
Why do you like it? What activities are on it that we like?
Is there something missing that you'd really like to see?

  1. Kia ora Wharakura tamariki,
My name is Tania and I am one of the Manaiakalani Outreach Facilitators. I live in Whangarei, right near the top of the North Island, a long way away from where you live in Christchurch. Have any of you ever been to Whangarei or the top of the North Island? I am lucky enough to be organising Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu so will be able to check out your blog regularly and leave you comments. It must be very exciting to be getting a new playground! I look forward to hearing the answers to your questions. Do you think you could take a photo of the plans and add them to your blog so I can see as well?

    1. Hi Tania, we asked our Principle if we could put a close up of the options on our blog... but sadly we were not allowed because of the arrangements with the company. Hopefully, we can show you the real thing in six months time!

    1. Hi Maddison, We are hoping for one that we can race around, like an obstacle course! We wanted something to slide on and something to swing on too. There are all sorts of exciting things on the plan! We'll post some pics as soon as it is built!

  3. Hi Whakarua, My name is Preston and I am from Kaniere School. This is amazing because there will be a playground to play on. Sounds like a lot of fun. It made me think about doing this at home. How long will this take???
