Great to be back into KIWICAN!

RESPECT  is what we are all about this term.
Respect for ourselves.
"I'm proud of where I come from, I'm proud of who I am, I'm proud to be a Kiwi, because a Kiwi Can!"
Catch Phrase Time

We heard about an inspirational KiwiCan person who is biking from Cape Reinga to the Bluff (Top to bottom of New Zealand!)

We played a game called 'Save the Bacon'.
We were given a number from 1 to 11. When our number was called out, we had to go and get the 'bacon' (in this case a ball). We then had to pass the ball around the rest of our team. If the ball landed on the ground, you start again. The other team is trying to get the ball off us.
We played Red vs Blue to make it easy.

We needed to work as a team and listen to make sure we moved when our number was called, so our team had the number of people we needed.

    1. Hi Jayden, maybe we could collaborate to build a better idea of what respect looks like!

  2. Hi there, it is Room 6 here from Wesley Primary. We are learning about respecting ourselves too and it is great to get some ideas from you. What will you be doing this week to show respect?
