We split into two groups today, girls and boys. We've been working really hard on our rakau... but not many of us look like we have been behind a shovel before! Today, the girls stepped up and put some pressure on the boys. We are really looking forward to learning our new school haka!
I really enjoyed spending time with you learning the Mau Rakau. It is always fun to challenge ourselves and learn new skills. Kai pai tō mahi.
ReplyDeleteKia ora Whakarua I am Kayla from Kaniere School, it does look like they have not held a shovel for a long time.I helped my dad for a little bit with his shovel then I threw it in the drain, it was funny. Did you like doing your rakau??
